After working in the capacity as a Controller and Vice President of Finance with manufacturing companies for over 13 years, Mary Raabe joined Wegner CPAs in 2003. She has over 35 years of varied accounting and management experience in the areas of public accounting, taxation, and private industry. Mary recently attained certification in the forensics area – Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) – from the AICPA in addition to certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
- Prepares business valuations for estate/gift tax purposes, divorce, buy/sell agreements, and litigation
- Consultant and expert witness in business valuation and forensic matters
- Held various senior management positions at both plant and division level of a Fortune 500 company, including VP-Finance, VP-Business Development, and Controller
- Advanced knowledge in standard, configured and job cost inventory control systems for manufacturing companies
- Assisted in initial public offering of a company, including restatement of financial statements to conform to SEC guidelines and registration statement preparation
- As Team Leader, instrumental in implementation of $7 million Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for a mid-sized manufacturing company
