“I highly recommend Wegner CPAs. They managed a complex conversion from Quickbooks to a new fund accounting software called Intacct. They were amazing doing this and even have an Intacct specialist on staff who keeps up on her training on the software.

I like that they use the staff appropriate to the task; one team member codes bills, one does our daily accounting, and the partner member reviews the reports. I think this saves us money. I also like that they have a team, so if someone goes on family leave, they will train in the replacement.

They are very experienced with restricted funds which is a special issue for nonprofits. They have customized reports that are more easily understood by our board.

I cannot say enough good about Wegner CPAs. If we had chosen another CPA or CPA firm in 2016, they would not have been able to build up the capacity that we needed with all our financial complexity. There are not enough CPAs in Madison, and I was worried that some of the smaller shops or individuals would have been overwhelmed. Wegner has the capacity we needed.

All of their work is done remotely for us, which has worked really well. We used to think our accountant needed to be in our office, but I am now a believer that outsourced accounting works.”
