This training is aimed at 501(c)(3)’s who fill out Form Schedule A as part of their annual 990 reporting. As a public charity most organizations are required to measure public support over a five-year period. It is imperative that publicly supported charities have an understanding of Schedule A in order to continue as a public charity. The goal of this training is to dive deep into Schedule A with the hope that organizations can then be proactive instead of reactive regarding their public support test.
Learning Objectives
- Explore the theory behind the public support test
- Walk through Schedule A line by line for a deeper understanding of the two public support tests
- Discuss how Schedule A can be used as a planning tool for organizations
