Position Mission: Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to all departments at Wegner CPAs.
How will you achieve this mission?
• Answer phones and direct calls.
• Retrieve corporate voicemail messages and forward them to the appropriate individual.
• Greet and assist visitors.
• Open mail and handle appropriately (i.e., scan, stamp, place in mailbox, mail to employee’s home, etc.).
• Handle outgoing mail and ensure it is ready for pickup by the deadline.
• Complete daily deposits.
• Assist other team members with completing client engagement letters, assembling client tax returns and mailing outgoing returns.
• Create and edit letters, spreadsheets, reports and proposals.
• Coordinate and oversee event/meeting planning, ordering catered meals and preparing training documents.
• Provide administrative support to Firm Administrator, Firm Accountant and HR Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
